Pops of pink add a feminine charm to any home, and interiors influencer Helen used a soft, rosy, Spectrum shade of pink to create her own pink paradise.

Using Milano Contour units in a blush tone, Helen has embraced the concept of a modern kitchen by having both style and functionality at the forefront of her design. Copper profiles frame the handleless units and the warming blush tones perfectly complement the pastel colour palette.

Ultra White luxury laminate adds sophistication to the arrangement by breaking up the vibrant colours of the walls and cabinetry. A quirky terrazzo tile backsplash lines the walls and creates a focal point within the cooking area.

Helen has carried on the pink theme by adding flashes of pink and coordinating shades elsewhere in the kitchen – opting for a Salmon coloured paint to colour the walls, as well as plenty of pink décor. Pastel pink and blue are a popular colour combination, and the retro Smeg fridge-freezer, microwave, and kettle are splashed in a baby blue hue that pairs with the pink tones so beautifully.

No maximalist kitchen is complete without a statement wall. For a truly tropical feel, Helen has incorporated a botanical feature wall including coral, pink, and black tones, teamed with hanging greenery and fresh flowers. Instead of clashing with the pink cabinetry, the opposing hues go together in perfect harmony.

The Zanussi oven and induction hob are integrated into the sleek cabinetry for a truly contemporary feel, in contrast with the many retro elements within the kitchen.
